Achieving an extra high quality production of glass primary packaging building a manufacturing concept flow based on a streamlined process

The demand for quality by design and high efficiency in pharma production are strongly related with companies growth and suppliers are always challenged by enhancing the increasing requirements in pharmaceutical packaging quality. Satisfying demanding requirements in regions such as Japan is taken in consideration as a milestone to develop new solutions but a key aspect is how to manage complex processes minimizing efforts, maximizing accuracy in a defect free perspective. This paper illustrate how a real Extra-high quality could be reached redesigning all the manufacturing process starting with a real critical approach that make a strict evaluation of weakness step by step applying an innovative approach based on high quality glass forming and technology application in order to overcome the limitations of glass PF-syringes.
